We were so lucky, finding this house in Korea.
The downstairs is the perfect home, thanks to Hydee's hard work, culinary skills and green thumb.
Upstairs we have a wall of picture windows overlooking acres of Korean Rice Fields and filling the room with light from the southern side of the house.
As soon as I walked into the studio upstairs, I knew I wanted this house. We couldn't have found a better building in Korea.
As you can see, we have a three light setup, thanks to the cooperation of Mr. Freddy Blake. I also have two travel lights, an octobox and a reflective umbrella.
The roll of white paper was purchased locally. We had our friends Jeff and Youngson find it online and order it for us from Seoul. They even delivered it for free!
Everything has been coming together so well. Thank you to all of our friends and to our brothers at Truman Lodge for supporting our efforts and giving us some down time when we've been pushing too hard. Mr. Kim from The Clash for helping us order the plexiglass and being our go-to interpreter. Dave Wolfe for keeping the bike in tune when I don't have time to work on it myself.
Thanks to Zack Arias, who willingly spreads his knowledge. His new One Light Workshop comes out today and I pre-ordered it, so I am extremely excited about that! Go to www.dedpxl.com to learn more.
And, thank goodness we have the Keystone Lounge to relax in and enjoy some good BBQ or an occasional adult beverage to help us unwind.
This Sunday is Easter Mini Sessions. If you haven't signed up, go to www.Facebook.com/DaVinciPhotos and reserve a spot now!
